Neill Blomkamp is the director for the Halo movie coming out in 2007. This was the last thing he directed before being hired on as the director for the movie.
adidas creates a film series celebrating color, customization and personal expression. Each director was given a blank canvas to create a short film based on their emotional and creative response to a given color - Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Black or White.
This film ‘Yellow’ by Neill Blomkamp illustrates what happens when a thinking machine integrates with society.

You’ve never seen THX1138, obviously. Kindly shut the fuck up.

:() uhhhh no directors have morals in their films…… wtf are you talking about?
October 9th, 2008 at 1:30 am

cyber i understand were your coming from, this guys is pretty good at making short films (watched them all) but to say that hese the greatest thing since sliced bread in film for a long time is kind of bullshit. Star wars, the matrix, There will be blood, Blood Diamond, just a few good movies about morals not dealing with Blomkamp.
No im not “trained” in cinematography, but since when did i need a damned degree to watch, think, and learn about what I see in a movie?

The lost of soul in robots? I guess you’re the guy that doesnt get ass in highschool. Blomkamp is a visonary and he’ll make great films but he borrows alot from Lucas. “Yellow” is an updated version of THX1138. But you’re funny. I tell all my film school friends to read you’re comments when they need a laugh! I like your passion for great filmmaking but you bullshit alot! Do you have any work done Mr. Cinematographer? I might not be Blomkamp but at least I have films done and some on here!
October 9th, 2008 at 1:30 am
Bullshit! Darren Aronofsky, Craig Brewer, PTA Anderson, and a bunch of other filmmaker’s that have moral driven films. First off, I study a Columbia College Chicago, the largest film school in the U.S., in fact Kanus Kaminiscki, Speilberg’s cinematographer graduated from there. you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. Blomkamp is the only moral director to date? What about P.T. Anderson? Darren Aronofsky? Craig Brewer? Alejandro Gonzolez? you’re obviously a pretentious clown.

Man, the halo movie is going to suck fuckin’ balls, I just know it.
October 9th, 2008 at 1:30 am
no, emos don’t listen to death metal. that’s for the non losers.
October 9th, 2008 at 1:30 am
and watch tempbot, all the ones i have listed, are all by neil blomkamp. Look at the other videos on color by other directors, blomkamp is the best BY FAR, and did someting unique with yellow. I learned more from this short film/’commericial’ than most of the movies ive seen, and i see a lot of good old movies on morals (ingmar bergman ring a bell???) J’accuse? This commercial that blomkamp made, to me is more than a commercial, its speaks of transhumanism, and the the loss of soul in robots.

kitten soxxy, your are wrong. Fist, Blomkamp is the only director to this date, to use morals in his films…no matter how short. Next to The Passion of Christ, no movie in the past like 10 years have morals, their all fillers and trash. Watch Allive in Joburg, tetra vaal, and yellow. Tell me the morals in there…if u can HA. I am trained in cinematography. I observe movies and morals, and discuss them in my school. And yes, i am highschool, and can take you on with movies and morals.

The budget concerns were on behalf of Fox and Universal. The big studios. Anyways, Blomkamp is an incredible director. His message comes across as clear, and his style is very distinct from what is being churned out of the Hollywood machine every week.

People like are the reason i dropped outta film school. Who the hell was talking about Blade Runner? Alway over intellectualizing every muthafucking thing but don’t know shit about actually making films. Name a young director/writer as innovative as Neill under 30 other than Tom Harper! and if you say Richard Kelly i’ll smack you!

true

Transhumanism. Anyone who goes to the next level may well discover they lost their soul, but can fly jets they never saw before and jump onto buildings. Anyone not going that way, into the hive mind would be hunted down though, by superior forces. All bad. Neill is aware of this.
